French Herb Cheese Spread

Description:
Preparation Time:  20 minutes
Final Tempeature: Room Temperature 70 deg F
Method of Preparation: Hobart Mixer, or Kitchen Aid
Holding Time: 4 Days
 
 
Ingredients:
Cream Cheese (room temperature)                  2 lb
Margarine (room temperature) 1 lb
Garlic, chopped 1 tsp
Dill weed 1 Tbsp
Thyme leaves 1 Tbsp
Marjoram 2 Tsp

 

 
Preparation:
Place cream cheese and margarine in mixer bowl.  Break up cream cheese and margarine until creamed.  Add the remaining ingredients and continue blending for 5 minutes at high speed.

Refrigerate

 

 
Notes:
Before using let sit out at room temperature for 20 minutes.
Spread on french bread loaf sliced in half length-wise. Then slced in 3 inch wedges and served as an appetizer bread in a paper napkin line bread basket.
